IPLretention: Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers stay at RCB; Sarfaraz Khan a surprise retention


Recently, the BCCI's IPL governing council meeting was held. In which decision was taken that any IPL franchise team in IPL 2018 will be able to retain 3 Indian players and 2 foreign players in their team.

After this meeting of the IPL Governing Council, all the IPL teams have now made a list of star players retaining their team and today, the most popular team of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore, has named the names of three players who have retaken.

Virat Kohli

Captain of the Indian cricket team and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli, in the IPL, has been rated RCB's team since 2018. Bangalore has given 17 crores to Virat Kohli, while Chennai has included Dhoni as captain in his team of 15 crores.

It is not a shocking decision because it will be a stupid team that will release Virat Kohli like a player.

Well, let us tell you that Virat Kohli has played for all RCB in all 10 versions of the IPL and has also scored plenty of runs from his bat. Virat has so far scored 4418 runs in 149 matches for the RCB, an average of 37.44 and a strike rate of 129.82.

Ab dvvilliers

RCB team has retired South African explosive batsman AB DVilliers as the foreign player for the 2018 tournament. Bangalore has bought De Villiers for 11 crores.

AB DVilliers has played many excellent innings in the IPL and won the heart of the Indian audience. AB DVilliers has scored 3473 runs at an average of 38.16 and a strike rate of 148.16 in 129 matches of IPL.

Sarfaraz Khan

For the 2018 IPL, the team of RCB stitched everyone and gave the title only to Sarfaraz Khan. However, the RCB team has to spend only Rs 1.75 crore in retaining Sarfaraz Khan because he has not played international cricket so far.
